We ended the 6 a.m. hydrangea panic by color-dotting buckets by arrival day and enforcing a “pull oldest by 10 a.m.” rule; after 10, folks can grab the fresh heads guilt-free. Only caveat: if it’s a wedding order, we tag one bucket as an exception and still rotate the rest.
