Using plants for emotional support

I’ve been working with clients who struggle with anxiety, and I’ve found that certain plants really help create a calming atmosphere. For instance, having lavender or peace lilies in the workspace can make a big difference. What plants have you found beneficial for enhancing your floral designs and supporting your clients’ well-being?

I’ve found that incorporating succulents can be really calming as well, especially since they require less maintenance. They bring a sense of tranquility without the pressure of constant care. Have you tried using any yet?

@olivia_rich92, I totally get that! Plants like snake plants can be just as soothing, and they keep thriving even when I forget to water them — like a loyal pet that doesn’t require walkies… Have you tried using essential oils alongside the plants for an added boost?

@hazel_arts02 I totally agree about the oils — they can enhance that calming vibe — i’ve had great luck using jasmine or chamomile oils with my arrangements. It really adds an extra layer of relaxation.
