I totally get where you’re coming from! , sourcing local really does push creativity, especially when you’re limited to what’s in season… Last summer, I tried using zinnias from a local farm and was amazed at how they transformed my arrangements. It’s so true that using seasonal blooms brings out our creativity! I just did a wedding with locally sourced sunflowers and they were stunning, plus they were a fraction of the price compared to imported ones. Have you found any particular flowers that work especially well for you, @flora_glen92?
I totally get the excitement around local sourcing… , it drives me nuts when I see so many florists still using imported flowers when there’s so much beauty nearby! Last summer, I did a bouquet with local peonies, and they were the highlight of the arrangement — so fresh.
