Essential tools I never leave the studio without

There are a few tools I find absolutely indispensable when teaching floral design classes. My floral snips, for instance, are a game-changer for precision cutting, and I always have a sturdy pair of floristry wire cutters nearby. I’m curious to hear what tools you consider must-haves in your work — anything that has transformed how you create?

I can’t live without my floral foam; it really stabilizes everything. Have you tried using it with your snips?

Floral foam definitely has its perks, but I’ve found using grip pads under my containers makes a huge difference in stability too. Have you ever tried that approach? It gives a bit more versatility with the arrangement.

I totally relate! Those floral snips make such a difference in detail work. Have you experimented with different blade types? I’ve found the right one can elevate your designs. :blossom:.

Those floral snips are definitely a lifesaver! I swear they’re like the Swiss Army knife of our toolkit. I’ve also started using water tubes for delicate stems; they’re great for keeping flowers fresh longer.

I can’t live without my floral knife for those quick cuts; it’s like a chef’s knife in the kitchen! Sometimes, I find using a small glue gun can save a lot of hassle with small arrangements. Have you tried incorporating it for more intricate designs?
